Fun Chipping Challenges For Team Building
Over the Bench Challenge – Try to chip the ball over the bench and onto the target. Score as many as possible in 5 Minutes. Top teams advance to next round.
- Example Scoring
- 2 Points for each ball over the bench
- 10 Points for hitting the target
Targets Champs – You need a chair and place it about 5 yards away. First target is left leg, 2nd target is right leg, 3rd target is off the cross bar, 4th target is to land it on the seat, 5th target is to hit it over the chair. Each player gets three shots to hit each target. Top teams advance. Scoring and rules will be given at event.
Darts – Darts is played by scattering nine to 18 golf balls around the green at various distances and in various lies. The goal of this chipping game is to hit the ball as close to the pin as possible. Players are awarded points based on how close they can chip or pitch the golf ball to the pin. Top 2 teams advance. Scoring and rules will be given at event.
- Example Scoring
- Within 6 inches = 5 Points
- 1 foot away = 3 Points
- 2 feet away = 2 Points
- 3 to 5 feet away = 1 Points
- Hole the shot = 10 Points
- Missing the green = -2 Points
Closest to the Pin Challenge- How many times out of 10 you are able to chip a shot to within 3 feet. This is the magic number and if you can get a couple shots to 3 feet or less and create tap ins during a round, it greatly reduces the stress during a round of golf. Constantly trying to make 8 footers can grind your day, but instead, if you get it inside that 3-foot circle, your round of golf just became more stress free. Top teams advance to finals. Scoring and rules will be given at event.

- 10 out of 10 balls within radius = 25 Points
- 8 out of 10 balls within radius = 15 Points
- 6 out of 10 balls within radius = 10 Points
- 4 out of 10 balls within radius = 5 Points
- At least 1 ball within radius = 2 Points
Hula Hoop Challenge - Lay out hula hoops of varying sizes and distances. Cut the hoops and re-tape together with duct tape to make them smaller. Set various sized hoops at different distances and angles. For example: The small hoops should be set close, mid-distance and far and to the right and left. The large hoops should be scattered the same way. The object of the game is to pitch the ball into the hoops. Each player hits a ball to each one of the hoops. The winner is the player/team with the most points. The game rewards accuracy and patience. Scoring and rules will be given at
